Finding Accommodation
For accommodation, it needs to book in advance and to get information from the interlocutors;
- CROUS: The residences of CROUS in Limoges provides accommodation in different types: the room in traditional towns and the studios (T1, T1Bis, T2, T3…) in a residence. Criteria of the award considers the financial and social situation of the family. A bond is required and the accommodation can be for 9, 10 or 12 months.
All CROUS residences provide a free Internet access in all units for a small fee for maintenance (N.B; ; there is no wireless in the residences; connections require an Ethernet cable).
- Caisse d’Allocations Familiales (CAF) provides help for residence under some conditions.
To find out how much help you can get, you must complete an application form on the CAF website.
- Clé (Caution Locative Etudiante) is provided by the State that allows students deprived of collateral security to facilitate their access to accommodation.
